Tacoma Union Station was originally built in 1911 and was known for its Romanesque architecture and beautiful copper dome. After years of neglect, the station was renovated and now contains the federal courthouse and is available for rental for weddings, receptions and other events. Today, it also features stunning glass art displays built by Tacoma native and world-renowned glass artist Dale Chihuly. The beautiful structure is located in the heart of downtown, just north of the University of Washington-Tacoma campus and near the Museum of Glass.
